A Message From Joseph Dube

Hey everyone! The Big Brothers Big Sisters of Coastal and Norther New Jersey is having their annual Beach Volleyball Tournament and I will be back again to defend our title along with some really awesome friends of mine, one of which is also a Big Brother with the program, and several others who are becoming veterans of Big Brothers Big Sisters event participation! Please consider donating what you can! Big Brothers Big Sisters is such an incredible organization and I’ve met so many great people who dedicate their time to making a huge difference in our community! This November will mark 5 years I’ve been with my little brother Kyjhaun and it’s been such a pleasure and privilege getting to know him and watching him grow these last few years! It’s been an incredible and life changing experience that wouldn’t be possible without this organization that directly benefits our own community! Please consider donating what you can, or sharing this link every little bit helps! If you're not in a position financially to donate I'll ask you to consider joining as a Big in the program because there is such an overwhelming need especially for boys in our community. THANK YOU especially to all who have donated to my events in the past! You are appreciated and I am forever grateful!

COVID19 Regulations
Because of the pandemic, the tournament this year will be different than in the past. Please read the regulations below and let us know if you have any questions or concerns. Captains will receive regulations and guidelines via email and will be asked to sign on behalf of their team prior to the tournament. Thank you for your support and understanding.
- We will be capping the tournament at 16 teams so that we can have fewer nets and leave more room for social distancing
- We ask that each player bring their own water for the day to minimize accidental contamination
- Players must wear a mask to check-in and maintain a 6ft distance from other players while waiting to check-in
- If a distance of 6ft cannot be maintained while off the court, participants are urged to wear a mask
- Volleyballs will be cleaned before and after each game
- Hand sanitizer will be available for frequent use
- There will be no DJ this year to help keep crowds from forming

*Please note that the fundraising minimum has been raised from prior years. If you have any questions or concerns about this, please contact Charleen at 732-444-3539 and we will gladly discuss it with you. Thank you for raising funds to support one-to-one youth mentoring!
