I have been volunteering for the organization for over 18 years and have watched my little brother grow from an eight-year-old boy who couldn’t name an NFL team other than the Giants into a young man. Ali, my little brother, graduated high school as a member of the National Honor Society and earned a degree from the University of Maryland - College Park. He is now 26 years old and working in sales at a company in Washington, DC. Being a Big Brother has given me great perspective on life and allowed me to grow as a man and a father of my three young sons. I highly recommend anyone in their early 20s to volunteer for the organization, as it is tremendously rewarding and will help you learn life skills that will prepare you for parenthood.
