A Message From Joseph Dube

Hey everyone, thanks for visiting my fundraising page! I'm back participating in this year's Bowl for Kids Sake benefiting Big Brothers Big Sisters of Coastal and Northern NJ! Most of you know l've been a part of this organization for while (over 10 years now!) and how much I love it! I started out as Big Brother and now serve on the regional board of volunteers. The world seems to be falling apart and the economy has never felt more unstable. As reluctant as I am to ask for donations, I also know how important it is and how much of an impact it makes. I recently caught up with my former littler brother who now towers over me. He's attending Fayetteville State University on a band scholarship and is a leader of the drumline who competed in the national championship! Speaking to him and hearing how confident and level headed he is was truly amazing. His outlook on life and his future was so positive and motivating even to me. I tell you all of this because your donations go toward setting up matches for our 1-to-1 mentorship programs and without them they would be impossible. I've seen how powerful the program is in person and can promise your donation is a direct contribution to your community. It really is life changing! Please consider donating what you can, and if you're not in a position to donate financially, I strongly urge you to consider volunteering and becoming a Big Brother or Sister! As much as this program helped my little, it was an incredible experience for me as well!
